Current activity

Giulia Guarneri Giovanelli lives in Switzerland, near Zürich and works as an organist and as a soprano. Collaborating with conductors such as Eckart Manke, Sven Gnass and virtuoso musicians Werner Bärtschi, Damian Elmer, Boyan Kolarov, Alberto Rinaldi, Markus Andreas Schmid, to name but a few.
Giulia is performing in concerts and operatic shows in Zürich under the supervision of the soprano Barbara Fuchs, famous successor of great Elizabeth Schwarzkopf and the ambassador of Schwarzkopf’s ideals of precise craftsmanship, commitment and passion to a classical conception of beauty.

Collaborations

Giulia performed on stage with well-known conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Fabrizio Cassi, Andrea Sanguinetti and Donato Renzetti. Giulia also collaborated with stage directors Cristina Mazzavillani Muti, Artemio Cabassi, Nicola Berloffa. She also sang with Leo Nucci, Giorgio Berrugi, Simone Alberghini and Oreste Cosimo.

In 2015 Giulia pursued her academic studies in playing the organ and was accepted to attend the Master of Arts in the class of Prof. Stefan Johannes Bleicher at the University of Arts - Trossingen.
